Can you watch Thor: Ragnarok without watching the previous Thors ?

I can watch this movie on a local service I am registered to. They don't have the others. The movie starts by mentioning events that happened in the past (right in the first minute), so I stopped watching. Maybe there are some previously on Thor" videos on YT or somewhere that I can watch, just so I have a clue about what's going on ?

They also have The Avengers 1. Are there MCU movies I should watch beforehand ?
